Set dedicated to restoring and improving the famous Tamiya kit, depicting the Peugeot 405T16 that raced the Paris-Dakar with Pioneer livery.
The set includes also the complete missing roof spare tire, adding extra realism to the build.
 
Fixing the 40-something years old was the main point. Even if the white was ok, the original design had a very light blue color for the livery. In addition, being it a full body livery, it would have been challenging to achieve a perfect result with decals only. So, we opted for a full masking foil, with brand new decals matched to the correct blue tone, a TS44 from tamiya, thata can still be sprayed via airbrush, or converted in LP color code.
